BlogSchmog Conversations with Carter Parenting

Small, Medium and Large

Carter takes a break from dancing to the Nutcracker to tell me:

If you have another baby, I’ll still be the oldest. The baby will be the youngest. And Archie will be the mediumest.

So I’d like a baby brother.

He then returns to watching the Nutcracker and asks, “so if he isn’t the nutcracker anymore, and he’s the nephew, why is he still dressed like that?”

Together we read the program notes about Hans Peter and the Nutcracker and Carter says, “So he’s Hans Peter now?”

Yes.

“Then why is he still wearing tights?”
