Sad, Sick Children.

Pretty much the picture says all the words. The nurse thought the red cheeks were from playing in the mulch yesterday, but I have a hard time thinking it’s anything separate from what ever’s causing him to feel generally crappy.

Archie’s not feeling that great either- his is just a generally crankiness and nasty sounding cough. Probably all brought on by daddy missage. . . .

I am also under the weather, having completely lost my sense of smell. This was brought to my attention by Carter. . . .

Me: (putting on my favorite perfume) Damn! This stuff completely lost its smell. Is it from being in the heat? (pulling out my second favorite perfume and putting that on) Holy crap! This one lost its smell too! (wandering out into the living room)

Carter: Mommy? You have on a lot of perfume. It doesn’t smell that good.

Me: (completely freaking out) I can’t smell!! I can’t smell! (grabbing bottle of vinegar) Nothing! I can’t smell vinegar! (opening cleaning products) I can’t smell bleach!

Carter: Mom, your nose is probably just weak today and isn’t pulling enough tiny flakes into it’s processing center to get a scent.

Saved me a trip to the ENT. I’m just doing some nose exercises. . . .
