A funny thing happened on the way to my doctoral degree …
A new Makice is expected in March
We are officially switching from man-to-man to a zone in time for March Madness. Welcome as this news is, it also has our family trip to Boston for CHI 2009 (among other things) somewhat tentative.
I would pledge to Twitter from the delivery room, but I can’t text that fast. It would go something like this:
Amy: AAAAARRRGGGGGHHHH! (labor pains)
Me: Wait, don’t go so fast. How do you capitalize letters on this touchpad?
Amy: AAAAARRRGGGGGHHHH! (spousal abuse)
Maybe we can teach Carter to do that part.
Congrats to Amy, who is currently doing all the heavy lifting.

Wow…congratulations, Makices!! Uh, I like the large friendly letters of “Don’t Panic”. ;D
Yaay! Congrats Makice family!! Maybe a girl this time???
Thanks, all.
The boys have been asking for a little sister for a while. We’ll see …
congratulations 🙂 how exciting!
Congrats guys. I got wind of this new just about the last time I was on line, glad to hear it!!!
Congratulations! Let us know the baby’s email 🙂
I am so excited for your family. Zaphod if its a boy and Trillian if its a girl? School + new baby = pressure. I know you will make it. In fact, in my experience it is better than work + new baby. Keep us updated
Congratulations!, the best is yet to come 🙂
Congrats the embiggening of the tribe!
