Awestruck and amazed, the Time Traveler started on to the conveyor belt. Running across the high-speed conveyor belt, he quickly made to the ocean paths that led to the different Emerald and Ruby and Gold cities.
Standing there at the base of the path, the Time Traveler decided to go to the capital city on top of Solariun. Running across the path quickly, he realized that there was much too many buildings and places in that city for him to visit, so he just jumped off the side of the path into the water. He swam under into the cave where there was air. He ran along the tunnel into the Ruby city.
The Ruby city is a city directly in the middle of Solariun. It was the capital city until the pole city was created. Walking into the biggest building (which happened to be a hotel), the Time Traveler made a registration to stay for the summer. He found out that the building was called the Ruby Hotel (obviously).
He went up to his room and unpacked his things, which wasn’t much because he only had one thing. He teleported in some more furniture with his scepter. He instantly teleported himself up to the surface, on top of the Ruby Hotel, to enjoy their river and rocks when suddenly the Solari, strange fish people that lived in Solariun, jump out of the river and surrounded him. He hadn’t brought his scepter; he had left it in his hotel room. There was no escape. He had to jump into the river.
He jumped into the river and swam straight to the Solari city. All of the Solari started following him until he burst back through the door of the Ruby Hotel. A twenty-armed gorilla, who was a bellboy, asked him what was wrong. He said that the Solari had chased him. And the bellboy assured him that they only come and attack once every 20 days. So he was safe for 20 days.
The Time Traveler decided to take his mind off things he would go swimming in the amazing anti-gravity Ruby Hotel water track. A giant muscle-bound bee, who was the elevator boy, took him to the swimming track level. And that is where the strangeness began.
He walked into the room. He almost fell down backwards because of the amazing sight that stood before him. In front of him there was a tubular floating curly que-ing river that went in all sorts of different directions and even once through the roof into the hotel rooms so people could dive in and travel to different levels through the pool. It also branched off into different directions and came up in the main lagoons of other cities.
He pulled out his scepter and changed his clothing to his interplanetary swimsuit. He dove into the water and realized that the water was going extremely fast, which is a challenge for better swimmers to try and swim against the current. The Time Traveler decided to swim against the current and realized it was very hard, even for him. He decided he was going to just go with the flow.
He went straight up through different hotel rooms until he came up on the roof and then dove back in after switching the personal current modulator to zero so he could swim whichever way he wanted. He swam against what the other people would call a 50 mile per hour current. While swimming against the current he realized that this way led into the suite for the very best and most famous swimmers in Solariun.
He realized he had to go the other way too, so he swam straight through as fast as he could until he reached where it came out without branching off. It came out in the Emerald City, the second most largest city in all of Solariun. Right before he came up in the main lagoon of the Emerald City, he saw oily polluted floating stream he thought must go to Barron Freeze’s castle.
In the Emerald City, which was known for its various vending machines, he got a Milky Way bar to eat and stuck a Three Musketeers in his pocket. The Emerald City is also known for its amazing elevators which go in all different directions and lead to any city. So he decided to go into the elevator and press the big button that shot him to the Pole City.
The Pole City is the biggest and most amazing city in all of Solariun. It has many many buildings and its big sky scraper, the Pole Scraper, looks like a giant golden cactus with silver-plated windows. All the buildings there are made out of gold and have silver-plated windows. He decided to check the smallest sky scraper first, and work his way up to the biggest so he would end with the Pole Scraper.
His first stop was the Wave Scraper. It’s the shortest sky scraper in Pole City, but it’s still very big. It has to have elevators that are shaped like crescents so they can go around its numerous curves. THere are no stairs because if you tried to walk the stairs you’d eventually walk up onto the ceiling. He walked over to the door of the Wave Scraper and realized there was a sign on each window that said “We are sorry for the inconvenience, but we are cleaning the inside and outside of the Wave Scraper this week. Next week it will be open for business again.”
Now we will go back to the Ruby City and see what’s going on.
