Fair Fun

We’ve spent two days this week at the County Fair. Carter took Archie on all the rides for which they met the height requirements.

The always favorite Dragon Ride was there again- Carter and Archie remained grounded, hanging on while occasionally looking back in horror at the kids waving their hands in the air.

We rode the “Scrambler” which was a challenge. Note Carter’s eloquence in the face of my inane babble:

Me: AHHH this sucks, I’m going to vomit. Stop, stop stop stop I’m going to vomit ahhhh you’re crushing me I’m going to vomit

Carter: The G-Force! It’s too much! Ohhh, the G-Force. I’ll never be an astronaut. (and upon the ride finally coming to a stop) Why did we do that? It was just crazy.

Shortly after that, we ran into more playgroup friends, and a group of them rode the boats together- check out how they lean into the turns:

We attempted to take pictures of Robby, Teddy and Angela on the Ferris Wheel, but sadly my camera didn’t work. Maybe next year, when Carter vows to stay late enough to meet the “black spiderman.”
