Thanks to my ability to activate my online social network in January, I became the first Superfan for The Needs of the Few, a great local blog published by Evil Spock (and friends). As my reward, I get to take over his blog for a day and post whatever I want. April Fool’s Day turns out to be when I get to flex my superpower.
I’m going with a layered theme. First, I’m posting once an hour to maximize my content there. That’s a lot of text—a total of 16 pages as Word document, or 7,429 words in 144 paragraphs. I should do so well on my “barriers to entry” research paper on online forums. What better inspiration for a 24-hour posting binge than the television show, 24. Second, I picked a starting point in Wikipedia and surfed back to the same spot in 24 steps, “midnight” to “midnight.” Not as easy as it sounds. Throw in a premise of Evil Spock being on the lam, and we’ve got ourselves a major guest blogging spot.
Enjoy.

Thanks for doing this! You had a pretty good day with over 300 page views.
So I was able to work in homage to 300 after all. And thus be Leonidas to Dr. S’s Xerxes.
To be fair, I’d guess about 200 of those page views were mine.
I happily go off the clock.
