The EZFoldR of Death

So I open up our new collapsible laundry basket, one of those mesh jobbies with a flexi-frame that creates a structure but allows one to fold it up and make it small. Inside the thick plastic casing I cut open there is the neatly folded basket. A yellow slip of paper with writing is obscured by a wide elastic band holding the whole thing together. I scoot the elastic aside and bend in to read the following:

CAUTION:
ITEM UNDER SPRING
PRESSURE, KEEP ITEM
AWAY FROM CHILDREN
AND FACE WHILE OPENING.

I got to “Keep item away from children” when the basket sprung, poking me in the eye as it knocked my glasses into the air. Archie looks at me for a while, pausing in between monster growls and says:

“That danger. ous. Daddy.”

At least I read far enough to protect my son.
