Carter has been running off to the back of our shed every chance she gets. Generally, she refuses to tell me anything that’s happening back there, as it is their “secret space.” Yesterday, she bounced back out to read with me and couldn’t contain her excitement.
Carter: Our bridge to somewhere is a little flimsy. It needs more support.
Me: Bridge to. . . . where?
Carter: Can’t tell you that. But trust me, it’s a bridge to somewhere– not one of those bridges to nowhere I’ve been hearing about.
